A concern about the water heater vent pipe after re-roofing. Please help

Hello guys,

I just have my house re-roofed a week ago. Today I got up in the attic and saw the water heater flue pipe go through the roof like this (please see the picture below). It is almost touching the plywood on one side. Is this acceptable? I wonder if there is risk of fire hazard. The roofers must have shifted the vent collar down a lot. I don’t think it was like this before re-roofing.

B-Vent clearance to combustibles is 1" minimum

Not only is it not ok it is dangerous. 1 1/2” minimum clearance in our area, maybe more in others.

Thank you. I guess I will call the roofers back to fix it
