REPLACE ALL FASCIAS 250 LINEAR FEET AND HALF OF SHEETING,REPLACE ROTTEN RAFTERS 8 TOTAL.

im doin a house rite noew the h/o talked me into doin all the fasha.
thats alot of work.
so it sounds like ya got a 1000 dollar wood bill.
plus a 12 sq shingle off and on thats 2500 easy.
then 6 sq. flat somethin off torchdown on 2500 again.
so some where around 6000.

thats nuts… did you forget the rafters and resheet half of it? not sure what the pitch is…if its cut up? if…the additions are included in his first total…what the square footage of flat is, and what is its flashing details. would need a picture to even begin to ballpark.

Come on gtp, Me Aaron and RooferJ gave a price without looking, and I’m sure all 3 of us would do it with a good deal of certainty that we are OK on our price.
yea your price i would but 6k and never seen the building. Thats just foolish to even say that. It cold be + or - 2k easy.

a couple a grand goes a long way down here.
i can get that much work done myself in a few days, and make a couple a grand, which pays all my bills for a couple of months.
its a simple house with a couple a flat decks on the back, and some rotted wood , which im sure the h/o thinks its worse than it really is.
6000 is in the ball park.
some people here in florida work all week for a couple a hundred dollars,
so im very fortunate to make the money i do.
and once again members here are makin fun of posters from florida.
i wish yall would keep the wise cracks to people from your own state, that way you can piss off your potentual customers, not mine.

[size=150]RELAX[/size]…we are not trying to insult you. we are just showing concern from a business stand point. for most of us to give a bid sight unseen and minumal at best information could bury a roofer. so i guess you dont carry general liability ins. or workmans comp or reinvesting money into your business or paying for advertising or the countless other things involved in being a legitamate company. and i dont recall anyone making fun of florida. as a matter of fact my entire family currently lives in your town of St Pete. so once again i plead with you…RELAX

i never clamed to be a “legit” roofing company, and if i ever insinuated that i appologize. i work for companys and home owners, like alot of others here. ive made roofin my life here in tampa bay, and do take offence to folks tellin people from my state and anywhere for that matter that 18 sq of roofing cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. now i know everyone was jokin and beleive me i am relaxed, but at the same time the words " ask a roofer @ roofing .com " are on the back of my vehicle that i drive around town everyday.
im very serious bout this site and no matter how stupid the question or how crazy the idea im goin to give serious advise and try to help. if the roof is from another part of the country i will ask for pics or leave it to one of the members from that posters area. and like others here , if work comes along im not gonna turn it down.
and i allways make it a point not to misspell any ones name when refferin to or addressin them, arrinb.
