Here is the response from an Allstate adjuster about paying for an extra layer of felt " I will be releasing the final payment to the insured today. Regarding the extra layer of felt, I reviewed it with my manager, and there is no additional charge for that- its not like an extra layer of shingles. The cost to remove the shingles and felt includes any amount of felt that is on the roof." How should I reply to that?
I have had a response from them that they have a company guideline to use a maximum of 3 roofing labor hours to remove and additional layer of felt. Tell them that you have had them pay that on claims before. They will lie as much as they can to you.
