Fair Contractor Markets - What is "Fair and Reasonable"?

Insurers have tried to brainwash business naive Contractors across the nation that Xactimate cookie-cutter default prices is only what they owe for, or in other words, what is “fair and reasonable”.

Is that true? No, it is not. Period.

Why so?

Because Xactimate prices are NOT based on ANYONE’S individual business costs that insurance policy’s pre-pay for.

On a daily basis Insurers/Adjusters try to financially flim-flam Contractors clients to believe that Xactimate’s average calculations determined, (by the insurance industry), for a given location, is the only fair and reasonable costs for their clients loss value, in their given location.

What a financial consumer and construction market scam!

A justified defensible agreed to price between a Contractor and their client is what is naturally “fair and reasonable”. Adjusters twisted con artist indemnification logic and efforts otherwise to “settle” for less is being exposed nationwide.

Hopefully, Public Adjusters and Insurers will not try to perpetuate Insurance Fraud against others accordingly.
