GAF Ridgeglass caps

Hello,

New to the site and appreciate the input other provide.

I have a question and performance issue regarding the GAF Ridgeglass ridge cap installed in the Northwest (Happy Valley).

The ridge caps are cracking and delaminating - has anyone experienced this condition and are there any technical service bulletins addressing this issue?

Delaminating? Ridglass aren’t laminated to begin with, they are a single layer of material that’s folded 3 times. I can see them cracking though, see it many times. If you try to install them in colder weather they crack when you try to open them up.
