Is adjuster entitled to change customer copy estimate after the submission?

Please share me your experience.
State Farm approved the claim and send us the customer copy estimate in an amount of $127,000. Later on, they did two more inspections and send an updated estimated in an amount of $27,000. Has anyone ever experienced the same problem? is there any law or practice that restricts insurance companies to change the customer copy estimate?

Perhaps it was a supplement?

Thanks for the response. No, it was not supplement. It was an actual first estimate released from State Farm after the initial inspection.

If it was a mistake they can. I have had them do it on claims I’ve worked before. until the work is completed and a final invoice is produced the claim amount is essentially in flux.
