Dont ask about the shingle selection, we did everything in our power to convince this lady she needed a different shingle, but she insisted on a 3-tab because she liked the way the old roof looks, just wanted a new one.
so far, the roof and garage are re-roofed, next we are adding 1/2 round copper gutters, then we will do all the touch-up on the house, and re-paint where needed.
I do houses 1000x nicer than this one, and never post them, i just thought this little house was kinda neat, and its a fun project, so I thought I’d share.

Hi,
I agree with the lady. 3-tabs are a nice shingle.
I put them on my own house. Because I like the look.

Lefty,
I haven’t layed shinges in years. I just run the company and sell jobs here and there.
Nice looking job!
Perfect candidate for channeled valleys instead of W, but both work fine.
I wouldn’t have put that downspout by the front door.
Looks good otherwise.

I wouldn’t have even put that piece of gutter over the door, why the hell did people invent umbrellas for?
