Dont ask about the shingle selection, we did everything in our power to convince this lady she needed a different shingle, but she insisted on a 3-tab because she liked the way the old roof looks, just wanted a new one.
so far, the roof and garage are re-roofed, next we are adding 1/2 round copper gutters, then we will do all the touch-up on the house, and re-paint where needed.
I do houses 1000x nicer than this one, and never post them, i just thought this little house was kinda neat, and its a fun project, so I thought I’d share.
And after (copper gutters will be installed next week. i’ll add more pics when they are done)
like i said… no big deal really, but i like little houses like this.
I agree with the lady. 3-tabs are a nice shingle.
I put them on my own house. Because I like the look.
Are they staggered 3" or 9" or something?
Dunno. Want me to go measure?
looks like 5 5/8" “west coast” stagger…
looks good Agape
I’ll post some more pics when the 1/2 round copper gutters are hung.

I’ll save you the hassle. My scale ruler reads 4 inches.
the copper valleys are a nice detail…nicely done

Wanna expand into that sort of work myself , soon.
Nice way to finish off a nice house.
How do you not know what the offset is?
I haven’t layed shinges in years. I just run the company and sell jobs here and there.
Nice looking job!
Perfect candidate for channeled valleys instead of W, but both work fine.
I wouldn’t have put that downspout by the front door.
Looks good otherwise.
I wouldn’t have even put that piece of gutter over the door, why the hell did people invent umbrellas for?

Doesn’t look like they had a choice.
How did you like soldering that copper box gutter?
Shoulda put round pipe…looks good…
The copper gutters make it look pretty nice.
Looks nice, but I hope you didn’t sell half rounds
