Roof repair....the right materials for the job

I see this way too often.

Cheap nails used to fasten lifetime roofing materials. :cry:

A couple more years and these slate would have been sliding off the roof.

Thats the way the lowballer does things. If im not mistaken on that type of roof either copper or stainless would be used? never did a roof like thats so im not sure.

gtp, copper is the way to go. Copper nails come out easier if you need to repair a broken slate. And last forever if you don’t.
