Had a roof replacement yesterday where existing skylight needed removed to run IWS vertically up the curb. Upon removal the inner pane of glass shattered where it was determined that one of the homeowners to this old home siliconed/glued/sealed the inner pane to the curb for whatever reasoning. I am supplementing for a new skylight for this since we had to remove the skylight to make a solid roofing system. Two other skylights and no problems with those - homeowner chose not to pay retail for their replacement. Any wording in your supplement line item that has helped get this covered? I am supplementing for flat skylight, flashing kit, labor minimum, and an hour GLaborer for cleaning glass from inside residence. Any help would be great to get this paid for!
